Ceilidh
(Kaylee) is Gaelic for Party or Celebration
or sometimes gathering for entertainment.
Ceilidh was an Irish Wolfhound who enhanced
my life from 15 December, 1996 until 26 December
2006. We had 10 great years together, Ceilidh
was slightly neurotic (Pisces Moon) and very
demanding so she kept me on my toes. A Libran,
she loved fine food and got quite indignant
if anyone tried to feed her pet food. The
one exception to this was McCavity's cat biscuits,
when we visited her in Brisbane, Ceilidh would
wander up the hall, tail swinging, smile on
her face and head straight for the bowl she
knew would always be filled. Ceilidh also
liked her comforts, an indoor furperson who
did not understand that she was not allowed
to go everywhere and that sometimes she had
to sleep outside when we were travelling and
visiting. She was lots of fun to be with and
I miss her so much.

Prudence
was the daughter of Pandora and bred by me.
Before 1989 Prudence lived with her Mother
Pandora, her uncle, Mr Peabody and I in Windsor
NSW but when their times came to go to doggy
heaven Prudy moved with me to Cairns. A very
cute furperson, also very demanding at times,
Prudy was part of my life from August 1983
to December 1996.

Mr
Peabody is the litter brother of Pandora,
He gained his Australian Championship title
and had some In Group wins but his show career
was not as good as Pandora's. He was a delightful
dog and adored me even when I didnt deserve
his adoration. Mister Peabody was also with
me from 1975 to 1988

Lady
Jane
For
my fourteenh birthday my parents bought me
a horse from Parramatta Horse Sales. I had
no saddle or bridle but they came later. I
guess that means she and I were together in
1966 and we did lots of things together including
pony club and horse shows and then later we
attended lots of sporting events as she rather
liked excitement. She was a very good competitor
and won many events and lots of prize money
in her time. She had two foals in her life
and eventually retired to the country (Walcha)
in the 1980's. She died about 1992 aged 26.
